Greetings to everyone! My husband and I are Singaporeans going over to HK for his career advancement. We really love Tung Chung therefore are interested in renting an apartment in Caribbean Coast for a year or 2 (depends on the contract of husband's job).
As his company won't be providing housing allowance therefore we have a little tight budget here. We are looking for a 2 BR apartment for a budget of HKD 8,000/mth (-+) with or without furniture would be fine!
As this is our 1st time renting an apartment, we need advise on how the procedure of rental work and how much initial payment we have to make. Do we need to pay any extra fee if we are not renting through agent?
And anyone have a rough gauging on how much does the water and electic bills cost per month in CC?
We will probably be popping by HK in April so I hope arrangement to view the flats can work out when we fly over.
