I joinned the protest at MTR KLN Bay headoffice on 19/12 to fight for $2 fee for elderly residents to take MTR on Sunday. Althought MTR changes the offer to Wed, still a small step forward to better living for old people in our community. I will keep fighting for our residents. thx.

PRE-OPERATING EXPENSE MATTERS!
Other than mentioning it in media earlier this month and discussed it in CC, SVC OC meetings, I issued a written notice to MO/MTR today and request response within 48 hours to reply me matters of PRE-OPERATING EXPENSE.
SVC involves 2m, CC 4.5m, cs 4.5m, so total about 11m $$$ value of we resident rights. I will keep fighting for this on interest and behave of we residents! If full amount can be chased back, our management fee of SVC, CS, CC will freeze for at least 5 more years. Please support our action! thx.

DONE!
After active follow up and media report of our concern in estate management and financial matters. We have successfully forced MTRC/MO if SVC, CS, CC, TCC to refund large amount of PRE-OPERATING EXPENSE in terms of millions of cash back to our owners/managment fund in the 4 estates. It makes a foundation of freeze of management fee for the next 3 years. I will even try to reduce management fee in where I am an OC member of that estate. OC and residents of other estates will soon receive this notice within the next 48 hours. I sincerely thx my friends in all estates and I look forward to having your support in the future. I will ensure to fight and speak for your rights in the future too. Thanks again.

thx all, we got reported on ATV, TVB, NOW, HKBB English news tonight. Also on Mingpao, Aappledaily, Oriental Daily, The Sun, ON.CC tomorrow. There is a radio report on Commercial Radio, and a Chinese article about this matter on Appledaily today, but dunno why, CC DOC Chairman drops my head off from the newspaper in his circulation to others and claims it is his achievement.
I would like to state that it cannot be done by one person, no matter he is a chairman, nor a councilor who claims she got it done by one single letter. It is actually all residents' credit, Rome is not built in one day, in CC, CS, SVC, there are so many people contributed. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all residents supporting this fight. And I will keep doing my best for residents. Thanks ALL.

Does this mean the MTR will refund those who owned apartments at the time of the deductions or is it for the DOC to find out who the owners were at the time the MTR deducted the amount and repay those people?

no, cos when we sold the unit, we transfer all rights to the next owner, so everything belongs to the current owners, so it should be refunded to management fund. And it should be refunded to where it is withdrawed in 2003.

ok so does that mean that the MTR will igve us a credit in our man fee so we get a one month refund or one month where we dont have to pay man fee, or are they going to just sit on it and over time get the entire amount back as man fee override no security and cleaning contracts?
