Does anyone know who I can call to complain about noise from the building site on Sundays? Just opened the balcony doors to enjoy the cool peaceful 'fresh' air and had to close them again due to high pitched drilling/sawing. Other than calling the police or going down there to bash someone I don't know how to stop it.  Angry Angry

It is against the law to work on sundays and public holidays. Phone the front desk or walk down and tell them and they will put a stop to it

If the construction company has applied for the permit, they do allow to work on public holidays (including Sunday).

Refer to HK Police Force website(http://www.police.gov.hk/hkp-home/english/contactus/rr.htm), you can call Lantau North Division at 2988 8520. Or download "Complaint of Noise Report Form" at http://www.police.gov.hk/hkp-home/english/enquiry/index.htm.

Nothing better than a bit on banging and a full breakfast on a Sunday morning. I don't see what the problem is. Take a book or newspaper to the bog and close the door, soon you will forget about all your troubles.
