Saw a dog walker training their dog to shit between the bushes on the soil so it does not have to be picked up? (this is based on the fact that the dog walker decided that they did not want the turd and left it)

Can't make my mind up with this one. I suppose I will never stand on the turd but is it right? It could be a green issue!?

Cheers,

Vince

It's a public health issue, not just a matter of whether it can be stepped in or not. It should be picked up regardless of where it is originally deposited.

Environmentally speaking, the odd turd is ok for the soil.  The additional use of plastic bags for the purpose of cleaning up turds is not really that environmentally friendly either as it preserves the turd inside the bag before being put into the landfill.

As environmental as we'd all like to be, when turds and urine compound, they become toxic.... and smell really bad too.  It's just unhealthy.

Great question! Blame it on the era we are living in. Everyone is looking for a logic in everything one does. It is getting so hard these days to choose between right and wrong. Starting from dog turd to racism to going green to global warming to organic stuff... It's too confusing...From myside I can't answer your question thou i would prefer not to have that smell while having a stroll.

What with the little pooch booties, doggy prams, chav-like Burberry doggy overcoats, surely putting them in nappies is not too much to ask. (The dogs, that is).

Peregrin - you left out the doggy Baby Bjorn carriers. Perhaps they come in Burberry plaid?

Indeed, an unfortunate oversight. One hopes chav fashion will not catch on with our fluffy friend fans, although the inability to stop their mutts pishing/shitting in communal areas certainly suggests a certain chav-like demeanour.

Smiley. Yup. I am confused on that too. But the Law should not get confused. It should tell us whether to shit-in-bush or shit-in-dustbin or sick sea.

Here's scmp's non-sequitur a couple of days back.
