I am planning a trip to London with my family (wife and 2 infant kids) and I very much would like to fly Cathay Pacific, however, I noticed that their infant fare is double the price in comparison to British Airways, Singapore Airlines and the other airlines. In fact they are the most expensive out of the major carriers. I'm wondering why and can this be negotiated with the airline?

BA are the best deals at the moment allround especially if flying business class. Nearly $10,000 cheaper per trip!!!!!!

As a side issue, whoever designed those CX business class coffin seats should be taken outside & shot? No wonder they are losing premium business.

Everybody I know now travels BA because of those ridiculous contraptions. Better comfort, good service and Asiamiles as well. Shame I liked CX especially the staff Undecided

CX is local carrier and preferred carrier...so it is always be highly priced.

Finnair is very good for Europe. Nice service and comfort. Very well connected to all the major european cities. Prices are the cheapest to europe. Asiamiles too.

Of course it is not direct other than to Helsinki.
