Thanks.

But that's too low for even a 2BR in my ownership.
Obviously, it is better to rent direct (and save the brokers commission), but it seems that those using these boards are only interested, if the price is far below the average rents achieved according to the public records, which show most CC flats rented in the range of $9 - $10 per square foot.  $10 or better is sometimes achieved for better quality or furnished flats.

Good luck anyway.  Maybe you can find a desperate LL.  But the main function of this board seems to be to try to "talk the market down", rather than to seek win/win solutions.  Maybe that shouldn't surprise me.  No doubt there are more tenants than LL's posting here, and they obviously want to present as negative a picture as possible.   This is one reason that I have curtailed my postings here.

come on bubbles, was only kidding. I would easily pay 9000 for such a flat with great view on the piling misery come next year or so.

But how much is Grace wanting to pay?

I'm tending to think of selling rather than renting when my flats come free.

Why rent at 12-15% lower, when I can sell at a profit?

If most LL's think that way, then we may see more owner occupiers moving into CC,
and eventually a smaller rental stock.  Things seem to be headed that way, IMHO.
