Personalised Octopus Card = pic or no pic???

I am new to CC and I can't quite understand if the Personalised Octopus Card must have a pic or not; can someone advise me please.

Plus, what are the rues on the number of cards allowed per unit?  If any - I am sure there must be rules.

when you fill out the form the MTRC gives you, a picture is required. Seems no one have problem with providing a picture so no one asked this question before. Probably you can inquire with the MTRC? As to number of cards yes there is a quota, I believe it is 4 for two bedrooms unit and 6 for 3 bedrooms unit etc.

I was thinking that cards with no pictures would take care of the overseas visitors access problems....

They don't check the pictures at the door, but they do check at the management office when the cards are activated for our access control system.

I have a personalised Octopus with photo etc. Can I get a spare one (normal no picture) to keep at home should I misplace the original?

I own two connected flats and there are only three cards total in existence?

 There is a charge already for the access card (the laminated one)? Before it used to be free.. But the management sometimes need the consent of the owner of the flat eventhough you are the current tenant..

Muttley I also have two connected and apparently am eligible for ten (!) cards.  I have found out there is a pretty active black market of card dealing between CC and CS owners to which my wife has already entered.  A good thing I guess if we ever want to enter the old clubhouse or the pool here gets too crowded
