yes, no matter how hard I do, I can do nothing without residents' support, and based on the rule of managing estate, your involvement can really make difference and make a better CC. The way we work has been well proved in Seaview Crescent in the last 2 years that surplus from 1.7m to 7m now, management fee has been cut to only $1.48 per ft, recreation events are the best in the area, etc, I hereby seek your support in CC to work together with me to improve CC too. we are dealing with the same management company among all private estates in Tung Chung, mainly the same senior management, also the same practical and financial problems, so experience and results can be shared for common achievements. e.g. We won court case in forcing MTR to disclose financial details so now CC and residents from all other estates can check into their account books, another example that we won legal ground in a court case of pre=operating expense, so all 10 estates on MTR Tung Chung Line from KLN to TC can get full refund + interest + MR, one more example, we demanded bettter tendering process so now all estates have their own tender boxes, etc. I am sure if we get enought support here in CC, we can make changes and make a better CC. Evil Empire is everywhere, but we residents can join together to fight those "nobles of such an empire". With you guys' help, we can get good results together and kick the evil ones out of estate, or at least out of the power group of this estate, stopping them from spending our $$$ for the benefit of others, stopping them from blocking our way to chase back our $$$ that unlawfully collected by others, stopping them from bad mouthing the good guys, and influening others to support expensive bills, stopping them from making CC a debt estate with no surplus, stopping them from controling 5.1% share then make silly decision and have 100% of us paying their bills, etc etc, etc........................Thanks.

To get started, I would like to have a group Of several active members, joining together to plan and act for the benefit and interest of the rest owners/residents, let's say forming an English group that we can discuss and share estate and community matters regularly, I can provide venues and some causal food, we chat in happy atmosphere, we discuss everything from estate management, recreation and transportation needs of our residents, etc. Then we act base on the conclusion, we work together to achieve something in relation to our living here in CC and TC. We tell our friends about this group and our good intention to help people and improve the community. If we have extra power, then we try to help the poor families in the area, care those in need, care the kids' education needs, discuss government policies, run event and improve our entertaiment and recreation life here too, run a flea market somewhere too if possible to encourage used trade and environmental friendly lifestyle, etc, etc, etc, there are a lot we can do together, to make our life and others living meaningful, I sincerely looking forward to having you to join us. the only cheaper bus tender withdrawed suddenly, leaving the rest extremely expensive tenders, we again see how dirty tricks it is now, it proves again that if we don't act together, we will sooner or later be "eaten" by the bad guys, our estate will certainly become zero surplus very soon...........................

to get ICAC started, we need to have more solid evidence, and they may use some other method to stop certain lower-price companies to join, e.g. setup unreasonable requirements to stop new comers and favour to existing or their preferred company, e.g. sending their friendly people to tender forum to question or even argue with the company they don't like, making them feel bad in this tendering so they withdraw, I heard this happened in this tendering too. They have a group of people for some reasons that I cannot understand that always help to make the contract and MO spending higher so MO can have higher commission from the overall spending of the estate, including all contract amount, so if this bus service at the end $5 millions more expensive, MTRC will gain another $500k. We also need a group of people to offset their voice, so I need more people to join us to fight for the fairness and justice of our estate management as well as protecting our hard-earning $$$. Thanks.

I didn't check the return tenders, but I know one company always bid on market price but it withdrawed suddenly, leaving the rest companies all price similarly HIGH, so we don't really have choice but choose one of the pre-selected expensive bills...................

IF THERE IS A GROUP OF COMPANIES WORKING TOGETHER IN A GENERALLY BIGGER SCALE THAT ALL JOIN TENDERING WITH SIMILAR PRICE AND LEAVING ONE RELATIVELY LOWER BUT STILL VERY EXPENSIVE ABOVE-MARKET PRICE TO WIN, THE REAL MARKET PRICE COMPANY HAS BEEN FORCED TO WITHDRAW, THEN THIS GROUP OF COMPANIES ALSO BID IN OTHER CONTRACTS IN OTHER DISTRICT, AND ONE BY ONE TO BECOME THAT RELATIVELY LOWER BUT STILL EXPENSIVE BIDDERS, SO ALL MEMBERS FROM THIS GROUP CAN WIN CONTRACTS HERE AND THERE, AND CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT THAT IS LACK OF REAL COMPETITION, OWNERS PAY THE HIGH COST OF ABOVE MARKET VALUE FOR THE SAME SERVICES, IT IS CERTAINLY NOT WHAT WE OWNERS WANNA SEE.

IN ADDITION, SOME PEOPLE AND SOME FANS OF CERTAIN POWER USE THEIR ADMIN POWER TO COLLECT PROXY, MISLEADING OWNERS WHO DON'T KNOW THE DETAILS TO GIVE PROXY TO THEIR "FANS", THOSE FANS THEN USE THE PROXY IN THE EGM MEETING TO VOTE FOR THE PRE-SELECTED PREFERRED COMPANY, MANAGEMNT SETS A DAY WHICH HAS LESS OWNERS CAN ATTEND, SAY A FRIDAY WITH TV SERIES ENDING, ETC. THEN THOSE PROXY, AND THE EVIL POWER EMPIRE CAN CONTROL OUR ESTATE SPENDING AND BENFIT CERTAIN COMPANIES WITH THEIR 5.1% OVERALL CONTROL, BUT 100% OWNERS PAY "THEIR" BILL.

Theft are stealing money everyday in the world, but if anyone is stealing your  money, you should care. I don't care if it happens elsewhere or if anyone suggesting it is "common", I DO care if it happens in where I live, or where I am an OC, or where I am paying management fee but they are doing crazy things. I am not smart or strong enought to help the whole HK, but I am willing to try my best to improve the estates and the lovable Tung Chung that I care.
