Glad to see the new clubhouse management team are getting to the root of the problems and sorting matters out. Wink

Lots of new signs up at the clubhouse forbidding all sorts of dubious activities including new rule 7. at the gym. "Gym users are not allowed to expose their shoulders or toes".

Is this on religious grounds or has some dirty swine been exposing his feet and frightening the children?

The new management seem to have been to the same business school as the last lot. If putting up a sign was the simple panacea to everything we wouldn't have any problems.

Perhaps we should post a few of our own e.g. "Clubhouse cafe re- opens after 2 years", "Gym to be extended" "Golf simulator repaired" they might get the hint and do something constructive? Writing suggestions certainly doesn't work as you get the standard "thank you for your comments which the management will consider in due course" reply.

Seems the change of management is just swapping Macaques for chimps.... you get the same level of apathy but just portrayed by different monkeys.

Hey Muttley,

By any chance you know what they mean by "gym users are not allowed to expose their shoulders or toes"? Does it mean people can't wear tank tops when they workout in the gym? Are they going to up the AC or provide more fans? The gym is hot enough as it is. Barring people from wearing certain attire doesn't seem fair.

I like your idea of posting a few signs of our own  Cheesy. Maybe they will finally learn how to things that are for the people.

Thanks.

I like this idea of signs too...... I would vote for "Indoor Skiiing closed due to extreme lack of interest and admittance of a very bad idea"

You know exposed toes can be so scary..... as for exposed shoulders that's almost the last thing the world needs - let alone the gentle folk of Caribbean Coast - I do hope the "great ignored" will feed back strongly to such money wasting, stupid and totally unnecessary rules and regulations.  Who comes up with this nonsense?  I wish I had been in the meetings to discuss these -- we could have the children silenced, the old and infirm moved, all residents not allowed in then the place would run so much more smoothly...

I can't give you a definitive answer but if your chosen attire is fishnet tights with Birkenstocks paired with a little strapless number you may have problems. A Nun's habit and football socks is permissible as there is no specific rule concerning bare breasts or butts.

Unfortunately the finances cannot stretch to more fans as the rock climbing wall needs refurbishing and the Dog Biscuit Making classes went over budget. MO have addressed the problem of overheating however by limiting gym entrance to 25 persons to keep the temperature down and a sign will be put up asking patrons not to exert themselves or sweat.

It's so damned logical I can't believe they haven't thought of this.  Restrict physical activity to running round and round the juice bar, providing a nice aerobic workout.  Then head to the gym to have a nice refreshing cooldown by sitting down and stretching out on one of the nice accomodating exercise machines, complete with sumptuous faux-leather seats.

So that why they don't rush to repair the machines because they just deck chairs now.

Another new sign "Treadmill - Anybody waiting?" appeared. No shit Sherlock! Problem solved but can dogs read?

Juice bar Grin...in your dreams. C'mon Giantsean, you will be wanting water in the swimming pools next.

What now?  I thought all useless hunks of crap that cost a bundle to install but subsequently take up space were called juice bars.   Sorry my-english-not-a-so-good.
