Sad... why so... it had the slowest service in HK. The staff were friendly enough but it often took them 15 mins to get you a beer...

The new place outside in front of La Blue du seems to be the ticket... I will go there and spend my money.... yum yum

I also feel sad - and I don't know why really as for the handful of times I went there I thought it to be far over priced and with sub-standard food.  I'm all for the new place outside SC as well.  Still, it is a shame really as I'd rather see places opening up than closing down.  Well, I guess we could do with a few new real estate agents.  There's few and far between round here  Wink

It might well open up again under a different format the person concerned has made a final decision yet so may be something new there in a few months

I’m not surprised, they had the worst Stella in town; undrinkable every time I, er, ordered it. Not good news for F&B diversity in Tung Chung’s version of Tiananmen Square, though. Four fast-food joints and one bar with separate toilet facilities, ie, in the shopping mall. No place even to sit down and chill out. A great example of 1960/70s UK-style bleak town planning, but not fit for purpose. I hope another pub-style boozer opens, but I doubt it.

The place was in steady decline over the past few years. Poor service, even poorer food/beer and the place just had no atmosphere at all. I hope the place gets a re-hash and opens again in some shape or form as there is a need and I'm sure a market for such a place.

After British Airways goes bust after the next round of strikes the redundant staff could re-open as the BA Blues Bar Grin

Agree with the comments about Tung Chung square....the place has potential to be a nice sitting area sometrhing like DB Plaza.

Cheers,

Vince

the rubbish sold by ebenezeers is hardly worth the name food (let alone kebab), it's so full of chemicals you might as well finish the plastic bag that comes with it.
