Settled for 16.5k from an initial asking price of 17.25k--not great, and I think prices are very toppy.

Thats great.. as i mentioned before about 16.5k at the moment is not bad deal if furnished..Landlord as well prefers to keep same tenant if he gets a bit less rather than changing & re-painting & finding new tenant

Perhaps I can rent my place out and move to Thailand; with that much rent one can live nicely in Thailand and avoid some of the stresses of urban living.

It is a thought.
