There are native Mandarin speakers and native Mandarin speakers. This does not mean you learn proper Putonghua. If you have someone from Sichuan or Fujian teach you, you surely will end up with a less than proper Putonghua accent. Consider someone in Guangdong province who is a native speaker and they teach you.

it is run by a Singaporean lady, who previously taught in International school, for Putonghua, the accent would be different for people from different Chinese community,
all of them speak proper Putonghua, basically, it based on what your are looking for, if u are aiming to speak like broadcaster in CCTV news, then, look for someone from
northeastern china
