3M goes to Mui Wo so it is not one you would want to take.  Easiest way I have found is taking the #11 or the bus to Ngong Ping (pricier).  After you go up and down the mountain you will hit a roundabout and turn right.  After about 1.5 km get off at a bus stop.  Nearby there is a road (google map it) on your left that takes you down to lower Cheung Sha where the restaurants and beach are.  Don't forget, Cheung Sha beach is pretty long and there are a couple different places to get off.  That one will take you where most of the people and businesses are.
