I remember seeing a sign for the fort while in Yat Tung.  Is it a doable 1 hour walk from CC?  Thanks.

Easy in 1 hour but you may be a little disappointed. I's a very small fort and the cannons now face at Yat Tung Public estate which blocks the sea view!

Prettiest walking route is long seafront past 360 cable car to Yat tung estate. Cross over dual carriageway to petrol station and follow road to right towards Chung Sha beach. The fort is about 100 yards back from the road and 300 yards along. Next to Curry Corner Restaurant if you are feeling brave

If you pass Melody Thai/ Handis, you've gone to far

Thanks for the assist, have now found it on map.  I went over hill, past battery to little pier, through neighborhood to Sunny Bike then Yat Tung mall bike shop then Riders Bike shop.  Found signs and Fort.  Ate lunch at Handi.  It made for a good outing and the little museum explained a lot, had to use the imagination of course but glad I did it.
