Has anyone noticed a repugnant smell in the lift corridor outside their front door in CC? It started in our tower on Sunday and has managed to seep into out flat since then, so much so that we have had to light scented candles. My wife noticed some people complaining about the smell this morning to a guard at the recycling bins by the escalator in CC Phase 3.
Out tower guard said it was disinfectant--that just happens to smell like something has died (some time ago) and that it will dissipate in 3-4 days! Anyone have any info on this? I am hoping this is not a regular event--I would rather take my chances with bacteria than have to endure the pong......

I don't even bother complaining anymore. I live in Tower 15 and some of the construction crews working on a flat on my floor were using paint remover chemicals which were highly toxic. It made me feel dizzy. I complained to management but they are useless. I noticed in Hong Kong and China they will use whatever chemicals they want regardless of the harmful affects. They just don't care. The construction crews also work past the 1:00 pm deadline on Saturday. I went to the apartment and complained and the guy said "I don't care if you call management". I told him I am not about to call management but he would have a serious problem if the noise didn't stop in 15 minutes. Sure enough the noise stopped. Smart man.

This smell is getting ridiculous! I'm in T3 and they say to get rid of it they pour disinfectant down the drain. No help - how can we put more pressure to get this resolved?

I checked with MO and they said probably it's the disinfectant they sprayed in the refuse room. It has been affecting my lift lobby ever since. Sometimes the smell permeates into my apartment. Not sure if it is harmful. Guess the MO has used some cheap stuff. It never happened before. I am still getting that smell since this issue was raised in this forum.

I am thinking to vote for another cleaning company i the coming EGM in March. The current company lways short of workers and service quality is unacceptable.
