Can understand that maintenance work is going on and the roof of the walkway is being repaired. But it is such a nuisance in the morning rush hours.Children,Office goers,Helpers,Moms,Dads,Strollers,Kid's bicycles/scooters all of us have to literally struggle to balance ourselves and get through! The rain is only making things worse. Is it really necessary to block out such a wide area??

You do realise that CC would run so much more smoothly if there were no residents.  We are just getting in the way all the time.

Then your outrageous demands to have space to move around comfortably - I mean, its too much for your average Management Office to deal with - please be reasonable.

Where's that Jeff chap?

I fail to see the nuisance on this one - there's plenty of space! They have to cordon off along the whole length otherwise people will walk into the scaffolding bit. Keep complaining and next time they'll just block the whole strip between tower 11 and 10 during the works.

if you've seen the previous tiles on the walkway, now that was a struggle to balance on in the rain

While we're complaining  Grin how many times are they going to replace the pavers on the road behind the pool before they get it right? Is that never-ending project meant to keep someone's uncle in work?

every few months until the frequency of the shuttle bus is adjusted. That road is not built for having a couple of tonnes piling over it every 3 minutes. While at it, maybe it's better to just remove the speed bumps - for the good of the bus and its passengers. The shuttle drivers are seldom slowing down for it anyway

Same at the phase II plaza, it will be shut soon for another weekend as the rain from the last few days has ruined the underground again, while our tame racing drivers love to floor it over there (or hit the anchors very very late).

eventually the owners will get fed up and just put asphalt over it. We'll look right like a public housing estate

Could be. But the 'repairs' are always done in the same places. If it were the stress of the buses you'd expect to see damage in other/more places. I suspect the road was poorly graded and pooling water is the culprit.

But surely, we all recognise that the MO has a major interest in growing expenses because they get 10% of the charges automatically.  What's the point from their perspective to repair something PROPERLY?  If it never needed repair again they directly reduce their own income flow.

What goes on at CC and elsewhere under the MTR, is a poor business model for owners with ever increasing costs.  I do wish the owners would wake up and sniff the stench of utterly poor perhaps even fraudulent management.  It is just the usual suspects who seem to care.
