Chinese New Year Payments

How much do we have to give to the staff?

Can we ask how many work in our block and give the packets to one of them to distribute to the others?

Is a red packet with either HK$10 or HK$20 sufficient?

Do we have to give to the Club house, Security as well as Managment Office?

Any ideas would be a great help.

$ 20 is fine ..for me usually I'll give to receptionist in our tower and security guard.

Previous MTR/Premier managed developments I have lived at have a strict "no tipping" policy so I would check first before giving staff anything. A well intentioned gift could cost someone their job.
