Hi,
Weare moving to coastal skyline I have 2 kids 2 yrs and 10 month old.
What are the acivities available for my 2 year old? which kindergarten can you recommend?

Just out of interest, where are you from?  Cheesy  I have experience with 3 kindergartens so can give you some advice covering the last 8 months with my children.

I am from Australia, I have lived in hk for 7 yrs but only just moved back here with my kids. I was staying in db and loved dmk kindergarten, but dont want to travel there every day just for an hour or so. thanks

hi, I am from Melbourne Australia too, well, I am from HK to there, then stay 10 years over there and back to HK several years ago. Nice to meet you all here in this friendly nice forum!!!

Well, this is my experience with kindergartens.

We sent our child to Greenfields and a lot of people were complaining about the set up there.  Its just not well run and the attitude of some of the staff leaves a lot to be desired.  There are good teachers there..but they appear to be in the minority.  The overuse of the word "shut-up" seems to be de rigeur in some classes.

We signed up and were accepted for ESF kindergarten in Tsing Yi but didnt like the 1600 a month shuttle bus fee.  The year before it was 1000...  The quality appears to be great and we liked what we saw there but costs were an issue.

So we have signed up our child for Sunshine House nr. Tung Chung MTR station.  We visited there twice and liked what we saw.

I guess its an individual thing.  Best for you to go to these places....talk to parents...then make a choice.
