Have any of the owner committee agreed to the new entrance readers at the entrance to the lake or is this just another example of the MTR spending money to get an over ride...  Huh

Any usage of Octopus cards (be it transport, access control, parking or club house) is subject to an annual fee to Octopus Cards Ltd.
Major shareholder of Octopus Ltd. = (drumroll).....  MTR Corporation
(oh, and don't be fooled by the unfounded rumours that Octopus is non-profit, that ship sailed a long time ago).

More readers = increased fees for Octopuscards Ltd. = increased 10% management surcharge for MTR Mngt.
