Octopus Readers on Bus

The latest rumour is that the MTR are charging us HK$20,000 per month per bus for the readers. That is HK$160,000 per month to the MTR for the bus octopus readers.

Please please someone from the Home Owners Committee tell me this is not true....

Who told you this Zorro as I don't believe it?

Rumours cause unnecesary agravation if they have no basis. Anyway OC won't reply via this forum so best write a complaint personally if you think it has merit.

I have been told that the control of non residents using buses is the responsibility of the Bus Contractor so if anybody is funding such a ridiculous amount it would be the contractor.

Whatever, we still pay for the Guards that check people on and off the bus which by use of Octopus readers are now longer required.

Told by a party who may know the info. All we need to ask is a memeber of the owners committee as if it is true they will know... I have myself sent an email to a man committee memeber and did not get a responce so suspect it is true as it was not denied...
