Have just been told there is going to be an impromptu owners meeting at the CC Club House in a week or so.

The OC and or MO must be brave, however on the off chance it is true does anyone have time and date of said meeting as I want to attend and ask when the climbing wall is going to be ready for use, as I know the MO have us all climbing walls, but I want them to let us climb them literally, not figuratively...  Wink

Z,
According to Caribbean Coast TV, the climbing wall is open for $100 for 2 hours. Tuition $800 for 2 hours.

That's pretty expensive but I am sure Gooner would dangle you on a rope from a great height for free if you ask him Grin

Secret conspiratorial meetings? The MO will impose martial law.

Question is will the inmates/residents notice? Wink

well, i.e.

CC insurance policy is not an individual policy. It is a part of ONE master policy that even include MTR shopping centres, MTR/ex-KCR buildings, offices, another 21 MTRC managed estates, etc.

Commercial properties has higher risk than residental, how they evalue the contribution paid by CC? CC paid over $1,250,000 this year just for insurance policy to share with all MTR property.

1.25m that is over 20k, MTRC should have tender purchase instead of closed door order. They have follow related law to have at least 5 tenders, and much more legal requirements I don't mention details here now. Did they do anything open to we residents about insurance?

This is a crazy practice and nobody fights with MO over the last years.

I told this to our OCs, I hope the information helps. I hope they will follow this for me, and us, and I will offer my help too upon their request. An estate like CC's scale, I really think management fee should be only $1.2 to $1.3 per ft. I didn't win CS OC, but I will still work for our community, including CC, CS, SVC, etc.

insurance costs CC 1.25m per year but not much claim made............ Undecided

good to have not much claim, bad to pay so much for pretty much nothing. also the insurance policy is unfair to us to include MTRC shopping centres and office buildings.
