What do you mean?

BTW, Rents for 2BR flats have just pushed up to $8,000 per month,
because one airline has been very active renting quite a number of flats

3BR flats still look like a realtive bargain, since by comparison, they probably
"should" be at $12,000 or more, and you can still get some nice 3BR flats cheaper

I agree with Dr Bubb, we saw a jump of around 8-10% in the past month. The unbalance between offer and demand is increasing.

Why would Cathay rent apartments? i thought they provided a housing allowance to expat employees and it was up to everyone to arrange there own accomadation.

 I meant my neighbor is a flight attendant for Cathay.. They have a housing allowance but she received a letter that her landlord gave her a one month notice to vacate the flat..
